We Won’t
Be Forgotten

Challenge
In the pandemic, disabled people were among those most at risk and most overlooked in public messaging. Scope needed a bold campaign to push for greater support and challenge the public assumptions that were compounding that risk.

My Role
Led creative direction and wrote the campaign’s core copy lines, translating research into direct, first-person statements that confronted assumptions head-on. Ran ideation workshops with the wider team to develop the campaign’s tone and messaging before moving into design.

My Approach

Social First

Designed a bold high-contrast visual system built as a modular set of statements – made to scale across social formats while staying visually and tonally consistent.

Direct

Wrote copy that flipped common assumptions into direct rebuttals, pairing each stereotype, the pressure-tested tone and messaging with team before production began

As part of Scope’s wider campaign, the messaging helped drive over 30,000 signatures on a letter to the Prime Minister and contributed to a Disability Report sent to over 570 MPs
