Challenge
Kick It Out needed a campaign to get young people talking about misogyny and sexism – one that worked consistently across digital and education resources, with a tone serious enough to respect teenager’s intelligence without feeling preachy.

My Role
Led the visual design and art direction, creating a cohesive identity across email, digital, social and printed educational materials. Directed the tone and visual system for a topic where getting the balance wrong would have undermined the campaign’s credibility with both students and educators.

My Approach

Balanced

Designed a tone and visual system that took the subkect seriously without feeling preachy – built to hold the attention of teenagers while still landing with educators.

Consistent

Created a cohesive identity across various touchpoints, so the campaign felt consistent wherever students and teachers encountered it.

“I really l like how the key focus theme is celebration - present a diverse society as positive, but also challenge any preconceived views and address misconceptions”
